Hot stone therapy is an exciting massage treatment sweeping the country. Basalt stones are heated and applied to the body in totally unique and super relaxing ways.
Harmonizing, restoring and rejuvenating the body at its deepest level.
Hot stone therapy goes beyond the physical experience of typical massage and enters deeper dimensions of relaxation, health and well-being. Physically the circulation and metabolism are stimulated; mentally the client reaches a state of deep relaxation and spiritually is balanced whilst healing takes place. Hot stone therapy combines traditional massage with the use of smooth, heated basalt stones, which are applied to the body as an extension of the therapist's hands. Cold stones can also be used to aid healing and this therapy is clinically known as "Geothermotherapy". The massage is 10 times more effective than a normal massage. The warmth of these heated stones penetrates muscles and balances the nervous system like no other treatment. Crystals can be used during the treatment to help balance the body's energy chakras.

Indian Head Massage is one of the most relaxing forms of massage you will ever receive so take time out and enjoy this treatment at our salon in Milton Keynes.
It helps relieve muscle tension in the neck, shoulders and scalp, headaches, sinusitis, eyestrain, helps to promote hair growth, helps blood and lymph flow to the upper body, promotes relaxation, better sleep, sharper thinking and harmonize your Chakras.
The massage is performed fully clothed although access to your shoulders should be given if you wish to receive the full massage sequence. It is executed on the upper back where tension often settles, the shoulders, back of the neck, arms, scalp and face.
Indian Head massage begins with a deep kneading and probing of the neck and shoulder muscles, similar to Osteopathy but with no crunching or cracking of joints. The head is then worked with the scalp being squeezed, rubbed, gently tapped and prodded. The hair is briskly tussled and gently combed.
This experience will last 20 minutes.
